BSC Perspectives in Focus Areas
The Balanced Scorecard approach helps review KPIs through four perspectives:

Open the current view
- Select the company and strategic cycle.
- Open Strategy → Focus Areas.
- Review focus-area KPIs in Perspective (BSC) view.
- Check which strategic priority and perspective each KPI measures.
This view does not create KPI copies or a new BSC report. Visibility depends on the effective bsc_module feature and your access permissions.
Add a KPI and select a perspective
Use Add KPI in the focus area's KPI section to use an existing KPI or, with permission, create one from a library. Perspective and report weight belong to the usage; measurements and success criteria belong to the KPI.
Update target/actual values through Goals & Tracking → KPI Tracking → Measurements. Active reports using the same KPI show the same series. Closed reports retain their closing snapshot.
Interpret scores
A KPI level comes from its own success criteria. A report score is the weighted average of evaluable KPIs using report weights; missing criteria and unevaluable measurements are shown separately. Do not assume fixed perspective weights or fixed color thresholds.
Legacy BSC reports
Reports at the old /bsc address remain accessible read-only. There is no flow there to create a new BSC, add perspective objectives or edit an old report. Use Focus Areas and KPI Tracking for current work.
