What are Notifications?β
COS sends in-app notifications to keep you informed about actions that require your attention or updates that affect you. Notifications appear in the notification bell (π) in the top navigation bar.
Accessing Notificationsβ
- Click the π bell icon in the top right of the navigation bar
- A dropdown opens showing recent unread notifications
- Click View All to see the full notification history
Types of Notificationsβ
Approval Notificationsβ

Assessment Notificationsβ

Notification Statusβ
- Unread (bold): Notification not yet seen
- Read: Notification has been opened
- Dismissed: Manually marked as done
Marking as Readβ
Click on any notification to mark it as read. To mark all as read, click Mark all as read in the notification dropdown.
Notification Preferencesβ
To customize which notifications you receive:
- Go to Account β Profile
- Open the Notifications tab
- Toggle on/off notification categories per your preferences
- Click Save
Notesβ
- Resource Analysis (VRIO) currently does not use a separate approval notification flow.
- Check notifications daily for pending OKR actions and assignments.
