Must I complete four phases in order?
No. Current COS menus use Organization, Situation Analysis, Strategy, Goals & Tracking and Reports. Old phase names may remain in some URLs; they do not represent mandatory progression screens.
If Synthesis is gone, has SWOT been removed?
No. SWOT Analysis is under Situation Analysis. Focus Areas and Mission & Vision are under Strategy. Analysis Tools also remain available.
I did not get resource analysis approval; can I use OKRs?
VRIO has no separate resource approval. Report editing/creation checks permissions, unit scope and the enabled module. OKRs have their own cycle and permission rules.
Does a low assessment result lock the cycle?
A low result may call for a strategic review; it is not a general “negative assessment → previous phase” lock. If you see an error, check the actual displayed message.
Is creating any objective impossible without a focus area?
There is no general block. Connecting objectives to focus areas strengthens alignment; missing links appear in the Goal Alignment Matrix and health views.
Why is a change rejected?
Possible causes include the wrong company/cycle, a closed cycle, structural locks on an approved plan, role/unit scope, company suspension or an effective limit. OKR creation troubleshooting distinguishes them.
How long should the work take?
Your organization decides. WBR/MBR/QBR reviews are methodology suggestions, not a schedule enforced by the application.
How do I review a previous cycle?
Select the relevant planning or OKR cycle. Closed reports preserve a closing snapshot; a cycle may not be reopenable. Prepare new objectives in the new cycle context rather than assuming old records can be silently changed.
