What is DMA?

The Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA) is a structured questionnaire-based evaluation that measures your organization's digital capability across defined dimensions. It:

  • Establishes a baseline of your current digital maturity
  • Compares results against target maturity levels
  • Tracks progress over multiple assessment cycles
  • Produces visual reports (spider/radar charts, heat maps)

Plan Requirement: Requires the digital_maturity_assessment_core feature on your plan.

Step-by-Step: Organizer

Step 1: Create an Assessment

  1. Go to Digital Maturity → Assessments
  2. Click New Assessment
  3. Enter:
    • Name: e.g., "2025 Digital Maturity Baseline"
    • Template: Select an assessment template (dimensions defined by your admin)
    • Cycle: Link to a strategic cycle
    • Unit: Which org unit is being assessed
  4. Click Create

Step 2: Assign Participants

  1. Open the assessment
  2. Go to Participants tab
  3. Click + Assign User
  4. For each user, select which sections/dimensions they are responsible for
  5. Click Save — the system sends in-app notifications to each participant

Step 3: Monitor Progress

On the assessment detail page:

  • See response completion rate per section and per participant
  • Send reminders via the Remind button next to incomplete sections

Step 4: Review and Publish

  1. Once all sections are completed, go to the Results tab
  2. Review scores per dimension
  3. Click Publish to finalize the assessment
  4. Share the report link with stakeholders

Finding Your Assigned Tasks

  1. Go to Digital Maturity → My Tasks
  2. See all sections assigned to you, across all open assessments

Responding to a Section

  1. Click an assigned task
  2. For each question in the section:
    • Select the maturity level (1–5 scale or other defined scale)
    • Optionally add a comment or evidence
  3. Click Submit Section when done

Your submission is immediately visible to the organizer.

Report Sections

  • Radar Chart: Overall capability profile across all dimensions
  • Heat Map: Dimension scores by section and org unit
  • Gap Analysis: Difference between current and target maturity
  • Trend: Comparison with previous assessment cycles

Tips

  • Schedule DMA annually or at the start of each strategic cycle
  • Use the AI Assistant: "Summarize our latest Digital Maturity Assessment results"
  • Set target maturity levels before the assessment to see a meaningful gap analysis
