What is an Excellence Assessment?

Excellence Assessments evaluate your organization against excellence frameworks — such as EFQM, Malcolm Baldrige, or custom organizational models. They:

  • Score your organization across defined criteria (enablers and results)
  • Identify strengths and areas for improvement
  • Generate visual reports to track progress over time

Plan Requirement: Requires the excellence_assessment_core feature on your plan.

Understanding Reports

Excellence Report Sections

  • Overall Score: Total score across all criteria
  • Criterion Breakdown: Score per main criterion and sub-criterion

Tips

  • Use a recognized template (EFQM, Malcolm Baldrige) for external benchmarking
  • Run assessments annually to track improvement trends
  • Document evidence carefully — this makes a stronger case during external reviews
  • Ask the AI Assistant: "Summarize our latest Excellence Assessment results and highlight the weakest areas"
